Who writes this
WeRico is a Delhi clothing label, founded by Anurag Jangid. This is its build journal, published before the shop opens.
Every post here is written by Anurag Jangid, the founder, not a marketing agency and not an uncredited freelancer paid per word. The name at the top is the person who stands behind the claims in it. Where a fact comes from an outside source (a report, a news article, an industry figure) it is cited inline or in a footnote, and where a number is an estimate rather than a measured fact, the post says so.
Why fibre, construction and cost, specifically
Most clothing is sold on how it looks in one photograph. This journal exists to write about what the thing is actually made of instead: fibre, weight, stitch count, and what each of those actually costs to get right in India. That is the entire editorial mandate. Nothing here is written to fill a content calendar.
What we get right and what we do not
We are a new label without a finished product yet. We are not going to claim expertise we have not earned through years of manufacturing, and every post says clearly when a figure is sourced from outside reporting rather than our own operation. When we do publish our own numbers (sample costs, wash test results, minimum order quotes) they get published whether or not they are flattering. A transparency brand that only shows its good numbers is not transparent, it is marketing wearing a different coat.
